PERFORMANCE & CHARACTER

Performance Characteristics Our breeding mares are chosen for their lineage, quality, and predicates (unique to the breed registry) with the KWPN Predicates inform us of our mare’s individual qualities toward sport. With a goal of building a genetically diverse herd, we seek genetic lines that are capable of high-level performance. Our mares are easy to work with, kind to humans and her foals, and capable of pasturing with another mare. We ensure each mare has healthy reproductive tract, settles easily, and trailers quietly. Each horse must have the ability to achieve their sport function with ease to the best of its breed characteristics and capabilities. The KWPN horse is known for its intelligence and fluid movements comprised of tact, rhythm, and balance. Equine athletes need a frame that is balanced, capable of sufficient power, suppleness, and natural athletic ability. We look for functionality from the moment each foal is born.
